What is a Talent Manager?

The Talent Manager is agent will negotiate rates, manage all communications with the brand, set up campaigns for you, and provide you with briefings and budgets. They will work closely with you throughout your career as a content creator.

How does the Talent Manager communicate with creators?

Primarily via WhatsApp – we find it a bit more personal than email, and it allows us to leave voice messages, text, and make calls all on the same platform.

What else does the Talent Manager do for me?

The Talent Manager will provide guidance, tips, and strategies to enhance your platform’s appeal to brands. Additionally, you will receive lucrative assignments directly from your talent manager in collaboration with our premier brand partners.

Do I need to sign up exclusively to be represented by Wawa Productions?

You don’t have to sign up exclusively to be represented by Wawa Productions. However, we prioritize our exclusive talents due to high demand in order to maintain our reputation for quality and offer enhanced management services.

Non-exclusive talents also receive our dedicated attention, but with an increased management fee.

How long do I need to sign up for and is there a cost?

Each content creator is unique, and so is each contract with Wawa Productions. We tailor our contracts based on individual needs. In most cases, talents sign for a one-year term. Do I have to forward on brand enquiries for Wawa Productions to manage?

Yes, you need to send all brand inquiries, whether paid or unpaid, to Wawa Productions so that we can efficiently handle your career. We manage your business emails and work hard to secure as many brand partnerships as we can, ensuring that you get the best deals available. This helps us maximize your opportunities and simplify the process of managing your brand.

What else can I do to be a better brand partner and creator?

Creators who receive the most opportunities have a large following and high engagement. They are flexible with their rates, highly communicative, and understand that briefs can change quickly. They approach their work professionally, just like we do.

Will I get tickets to premieres, early access to games, and access to events?

Yes, you can, but please be aware that these perks are not guaranteed. We have connections with brands, but the final decision on who receives the best freebies is up to them. The most effective way to access these perks is to excel in your campaign work for them.

How much will I be paid per project?

This can varies significantly depending on the complexity of the project, the platforms involved, and potential travel requirements, and can differ from project to project. If you join us, you will not receive less than your current pay. It is likely that you will be compensated more and have access to additional opportunities.

Is there a chance I will not be paid for my work?

Even if a client or brand fails to pay us, we will still cover any expenses and ensure that creators receive fair compensation. As long as you adhere to the brief and collaborate with us to meet deadlines, you will always be compensated for your work.

What payment methods does Wawa Productions accept ?

Convenient payment options are available for both companies and talent located outside of Canada. These options include Bank Transfer and Wire Transfer in USD, EUR, and CAD. For Canadian companies and talent, we also accept Interac E-Transfer in USD, EUR, and CAD.

How does the Wawa Productions make money?

Wawa Productions generates revenue through several streams, primarily via our partnerships and commission per campaign. You are always informed of our commission before you commit to a project. Transparency is key to maintaining a strong relationship with our partners and talents.

What would be the first steps after approval to join the team?

First, you will need to sign our talent agreement. Second, we will pair you with a talent manager. Third, update your business enquiries email address on your platforms to: yourname@wawaproductions.ca. Finally, we will add you to our rosters and start pitching you to our existing brand partners.
